Ladies We Love and Think You Should Too: Alma Rivera

Alma Rivera is an anointed singer and minister of music with a beautiful voice and a sweet spirit who I came across on Twitter. Born and raised in Mexico City, Alma now travels and ministers all over Canada, South America, and the U.S. She has shared the stage with a number of high profile ministries including Kim Clement and Mark Chironna. In 2002 she was invited to collaborate with “Ministerios Vision Internacional” in Queretaro and Reynosa Mexico. Recognizing the need for praise and worship in Reynosa, Alma Followed her heart and opened a Christian Music School. The mission of the school was not only to develop musicians in excellence, but to but to prepare worshipers that could manifest the goodness of God in people’s lives. Currently Alma and her husband Richard, who is also her manager, live in Long Island NY and are planted at The Upper Room Christian Center in Dix Hills where Alma leads praise and worship (one of the largest churches on Long Island).
